Metal products and components

Sunton supplies metal parts and products made by manufacturing partners in China — from machined components to sheet-metal assemblies, castings and stamped parts. You buy directly from Sunton; we coordinate the right partner, support the design and document the agreed quality checks.

Manufacturing routes

Four process routes, one point of contact.

We match each part to a partner suited to the process. Feasibility, tolerances and finishes are confirmed per project after reviewing your drawing.

Machining

Milling, turning, drilling, threading and multi-step machining of components from bar, plate or castings.

Typical parts
Shafts, bushings, brackets, housings, flanges, fittings and custom mechanical parts.
What affects the quote
Critical dimensions and tolerances, surface requirements, batch size and whether the part is a one-off or repeat order.
Discuss a machining part

Sheet-metal fabrication

Laser cutting, punching, bending, forming, welding and assembly of sheet and plate parts.

Typical parts
Enclosures, panels, covers, brackets, frames, cabinets and formed air-distribution parts.
What affects the quote
Sheet thickness and material, bend details, welding and assembly needs, and finish.
Discuss a sheet-metal fabrication part

Casting

Casting routes such as die casting, sand casting and investment casting, selected according to the part and volume.

Typical parts
Housings, valve and pump bodies, complex-shape components and parts that are machined after casting.
What affects the quote
Annual volume, part geometry, tooling or pattern investment and post-machining requirements.
Discuss a casting part

Forging & stamping

Forging for strength-critical parts; progressive and single-stage stamping for high-volume formed parts.

Typical parts
Levers, hooks, connecting parts, clips, washers, terminals and stamped brackets.
What affects the quote
Tooling investment against expected cumulative quantity, material grade and secondary operations.

Materials

Common materials.

MaterialTypical use
Carbon steelMachined, fabricated, forged and stamped parts
Stainless steelParts needing corrosion resistance or a clean finish
AluminumLightweight machined, cast, extruded and sheet parts
Brass & copperFittings, connectors and electrical parts

Finishes

Surface treatment.

  • Powder coating
  • Painting
  • Zinc plating / galvanizing
  • Anodizing (aluminum)
  • Polishing & brushing
  • Heat treatment

Availability depends on the part, material and partner, and is confirmed in the quotation.

Engineering support

Our three China-based mechanical designers review drawings, suggest changes for manufacturability and cost, and can prepare production drawings when you start from a sample or idea.

Engineering

Source or develop

Already have a finished drawing? We source it. Need adaptation or a new part? We develop it with you. Development and tooling fees are paid upfront and credited in full once the agreed cumulative order quantity is reached.

Documented quality

Agreed inspection points — dimensions, finish, packing — are checked and documented together with our affiliate COZE.Tech before shipment.
